What is Therapy?
Therapy is a space for healing, growth, and self-discovery. Whether you're feeling stuck in old patterns, navigating a challenging situation, or carrying pain that feels too heavy to release, therapy offers a compassionate path forward. It’s a journey where we explore your experiences, embrace mindfulness, and work together to create the changes you desire. No matter what brings you to therapy, it’s a step toward self-awareness, acceptance, and enhanced functioning. Everyone’s therapeutic journey is unique, and I’m here to support your individual needs in a warm and accepting environment.
Session Frequency
Meeting weekly is essential for meaningful progress and lasting change in therapy. Regular sessions create the foundation for deeper exploration, reduce negative symptoms, and promote personal growth. Research shows that consistency plays a key role in your healing process. We will meet on a weekly basis, unless biweekly sessions will be therapeutically advantageous under unique circumstances. Together, we’ll get into a rhythm that supports your goals and ensures you get the most out of our work.
Length of Treatment
The length of therapy varies depending on your unique goals and needs. For some, treatment may be brief, lasting just a few sessions, while others may find that longer-term work is needed to achieve deeper, more lasting change. Whether you're seeking short-term solutions or more in-depth, ongoing support, the journey is tailor-made for you. We can discuss your goals and the potential length of treatment during our first session and revisit this as your needs evolve throughout our work together.
Scheduling & Cancellations
By the end of our first appointment, we’ll find a regular day and time for our weekly sessions. Consistency is an important part of therapy, and I’ll do my best to keep our schedule stable, minimizing the need for cancellations or changes. You’re welcome to cancel a session without any charge up to 24 hours in advance. For cancellations within 24 hours, the session fee will apply. (If our session falls right after Shabbos or Yom Tov, please let me know by noon on Erev Shabbos/Yom Tov.) I’ll always do my best to find an alternative time if rescheduling is needed, though availability can’t always be guaranteed.
Fees & Payment
Payments in ILS can be made via cash or bank transfer, while payments in USD are accepted through U.S. credit card or Zelle. I understand that financial circumstances vary, and I offer a limited number of reduced-rate slots based on financial need—feel free to inquire if you’d like more information. To simplify things, a credit card will be kept on file for any potential cancellation fees, which we’ll discuss briefly in our first session. Together, we’ll find a payment method and schedule that feels comfortable for you.
